Road bikes

We have spent many, many hours handpicking the best Richmond road bikes to suit every rider and every pocket.

Trek Emonda

Trek have three top road bike lines, all focusing on a different strength. The Emonda is all about performance and weight… or lack of weight. These bikes deliver incredible speed on the slopes and lay claim to being the world’s lightest production road frames. Bikes begin at £1,000 for the aluminium version, topping out at £10,000 for the sort of bike Alberto Contador rides in the mountains.

Trek Lexa

Trek’s women’s bikes pick up where other manufacturers leave off. It’s more than a breezy colour and a wide saddle. It’s more than specific geometry, too. We’re talking a bike suited to the woman who wants to see how far she can go, designed with you in mind from the floor up. There’s the aluminium Lexa packed with power and value, the Silque to deliver the smoothest sportive ride and incredible performance driven Madones and Emondas. Big range in store, starting from £750 for this inspiring Lexa.

Trek Silque

If there is a better all-round women’s road bike on the market, we are yet to see it. The Trek Silque simply has everything you could want: fantastic acceleration, direct handling, plush comfort, low weight and the most beautiful of lines. From just £1,500.

Trek Domane

The Domane has become Trek’s signature machine. The Emonda is their lightweight bike, the Madone is the aero machine, but this is the one that will give the most to the likes of us: supreme comfort and performance over the nastiest of terrain. This must surely be the best sportive range on the market today. Fabian Cancellara certainly thinks so, with the cobble-busting SLR at the very top of the tree. There are superb value options too, with the S4 ringing the till at £1,500. Our demo SLR is a ride you can’t afford not to take.

Enigma Evade

There’s something indescribably excellent about a British titanium or steel road bike that’s been put together just for you. Enigma, in our opinion, are simply the best, and we just adore the Evade, our most popular top-end bike. The only way to really appreciate the ride is to try it for yourself, so we have demo bikes in store. Call now to arrange a test ride. Bike prices from around £3,000.

Enigma Etape

Have you ever wanted a bike that you can commute on, smash your pals on the Sunday club run, wing your way around the Maratona dles Dolomites, then pop a rack on and camp your way across the Rockies? This is it: the Enigma Etape. And because it’s 3/2.5AL titanium, it will be as good in ten years time as your first ride. Don’t take our word for it, come and ride our demo. Bike prices from £2,850.

Genesis Croix de Fer

The Genesis Croix de Fer could be listed in virtually every category in the shop. It’s a super-strong roadie, it’s a go-anywhere adventure bike, it’s a tourer, it’s a cyclo-cross machine, it’s a versatile commuter… with steel frames and sensible specification, this is a range that never fails to appeal. Bikes go from £899 to £1499.

Genesis Equilibrium

Everybody loves the idea of a cool old steel road bike, but we’re all aware that technology has taken us away from those days forever. Or has it? Genesis don’t think so. The Equilibrium is a sublime marriage of old fashioned lines and cutting edge components. Yes, you can have beauty, reliability and performance, and it needn’t cost the earth. From £999.

Trek Alpha

If it’s speed you want, you need look no further than the Trek Alpha aluminium bikes. For power, responsiveness, strength and reliability they can’t be beaten, And we haven’t even mentioned value. This 1.2 is just £750.
