Since the day this team took over Richmond Cycles, nearly four years ago now, we’ve been trying to do things a little differently than other bike shops...
We all understand that a bike is more than a piece of sports equipment, it’s a wellness machine. At Richmond Cycles it comes with free, friendly advice tailored to the beginner as well as the enthusiast about how to use it and look after it. It’s a machine that will wear over time and we’re here to help when that happens too.
During this Coronavirus crisis we’re proud to be prioritising our time to support NHS staff and other key workers but we’re also pleased to be able to keep our neighbours and friends rolling.
We’ve suspended our group rides, our fitting services and our maintenance evenings but we’re still here to help you keep connected with your community and learn more about how and where you can ride around here.
"I’m a social character by nature and, frankly, struggling with the lack of contact with others. But a solo bike ride is definitely a vital part of my wellness regime."
The pedals start turning, the heart starts pumping and the head starts clearing. I’m stealing this thought from Einstein but it’s true for me too. Life is like riding a bike. In order to stay balanced you’ve got to keep moving. Get on your two wheeled ‘wellness machine’ and keep rolling friends. We’ll do it together again when we can. best wishes, Richard
